Carlos Fauvrelle is one of the biggest producers in Portuguese electronic music. Although he has started his career with techno music, it is when experimenting house music he finds his true calling and satisfaction, defining the future of his own career.
Carlos’ current approach to house music has gathered positive support and critics at a worldwide level. His debut solo track, “Talking”, released by Serial Rec has relied on the support given by artists like Danny Tenaglia, Roger Sanches and Superchumbo. Still solo, the producer/DJ releases “Operator” through Choo Choo. “Operator”’s success was so large, that the worlwide famous duo Deep Dish, couldn’t stop themselves from including in their own”Global Underground - TORONTO” compilation. Also worth mentioning is the theme that reached #4 in America’s Billboard “Break Out Chart”: “The Real World” by 4 Toasters.
4 Toasters are Carlos Fauvrelle, Frank Maurel, BBB and GMT, being a worldwide success, at the point of having the renowned Twisted label license the above track to several CDs of great artists like John Creamer & Stephan K, Superchumbo, Jaimy among others.
Produces a whole series of remixes like “In a Summer Time” (which receives DJ Vibe’s support, selecting the referred track to make part of his “Global Grooves” compilation), or Benny Benassi’s “Satisfaction” & “No Matter What You Do” under the 3 Monkeys on The Moon alias.
Allied with Frank Maurel, forms the “MAUREL & FAUVRELLE” partnership, which has been very productive, having been able to take the project’s fame to the international scene (with releases in labels like Subliminal/Sondos, Distraekt, Tao, Inversus, Skint/Loaded or Harlem Rec), and giving birth to their own label “LAJJA RECORDINGS”.
2006 has been a year full of releases of both originals and remixes through labels like Stereo, Subversive, Twisted, Armada, and his brand new label “Meridua”. Some of these tunes have been chosen to figure in complations such as Chus & Ceballos’, DJ Vibe’s, etc.
Outside the studio, Fauvrelle heads regular acts in the major Portuguese clubs, and in countries like Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Lithuania, United States, Turkey, Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela and, most recently, the famous Pacha (NY) and Rise (Boston) clubs.

“Alessandro Russo a.k.a. “Slok” was born in Italy on october 21th, 1982; Libra / Scorpio cuspid, left handed, his love for music was developed in his childhood, listening to any kind of records, playing acoustic and electronic instruments with his “musical” family members and growing up with a polyedric and free music feeling.
He started off playing drums and percussion in a rock band, then, when he was 16, he got his first 4-track Fostex home tape recorder, a digital effect processor, a drum machine, a sampler and a Roland 8-track midi workstation; with that equipment, he begin to produce funky orientend grooves combined with self-taught chords and harmonies.
The first official release came later, in 1993 as ‘B&R - Freeway’ (a house track that Dave Piccioni called out as a “medley”) on The Milkyway EP - Zippy Record / Azuli compilation with tracks from Terry Hunter & Aaron Smith, Jovonn, and Brown Melody”.
Actually Alessandro are co-produced the best Syndication FM Radio show in Italy called MAGMA - www.magmaweb.it, also he’s monthly resident on M2O the biggest Italian dance FM network - www.m2o.it coming soon an electro tribal funk remix for Juicy Music of a track called ‘Insert Coin’ (Robbie Rivera Label).

D-Formation is Dimas Carbajo: owner and label head of the Beat Freak Recordings group and one of the best DJs in the world. His career spans some 20 years and includes numerous international hits released under many pseudonyms (remember Flamenco Trip and Que Idea?) but it is as D-Formation that he is best known and most respected. D-Formation is the name on the lips (as well as charts and play lists) of all the most important international DJs.
The success of tracks such as ‘Starstuff’, ‘Signs&Portents’ and ‘The Third Dimension’ (recently remixed by Victor Calderone) has been underlined by critical acclaim as well as commercial success, and this creative renaissance has been confirmed by a welter of remixing commissions and requests for collaboration. D-Formation has remixed and recently added his distinctive sound to tracks by Victor Calderone, Smokin’ Jo, Chus&Ceballos and Jocelyn Brown amongst others. One curious fact is that D-Formation’s remix of ‘La Noche’ by Coca&Villa was one of the top selling legal internet downloads of 2004. The fruits of studio work with Victor Calderone will see the light of day as a single sometime in 2005 and D-Formation is also working on a remix and recreation of the track ‘Cloud 9′ sung by Claudia Brocken (of Propaganda) and written by Claudia with Martin L Gore (of Depeche Mode).
Aside from his heady success as producer, remixer and label head it is worth remembering that D-Formation is and always will be one of the best house DJs in the world and probably one of the most innovative. Recent sessions in cities as far removed as Sao Paolo, Tel Aviv, Sofia, London, Tokyo and Mexico DF have left no room for doubt that D-Formation is house’s fastest rising international DJ: not only is his house big enough for everyone but he is reshaping, remodeling and reinventing house: taking house home. A session from D-Formation is not a session but a seamless production, deeper and darker progressive house than you can imagine, interspersed with lighter, faster, brighter sounds than you thought imaginable: hearing is believing.
It is also worth noting that D-Formation productions have been an integral part of the sets of the following DJs (amongst others, too many to name): Danny Tenaglia, Timo Maas, Deep Dish, etc. and have appeared on the best compilations around the world, from Global Underground to Pacha. The last D-Formation single ‘Monike’ charted high with top DJs like Anton Fielding worldwide and at the same time D-Formation had no less than FIVE tracks on the Balance Record Pool Top 40. The next D-Formation single is called ‘Attack’ and will be released in March. It is already shaping up to be his biggest record yet.

Jody Wisternoff’s biog is deceptive, as he’s achieved so much in a short space of time. Selling over 100,000 albums and delivering a Top 40 hit with his band Way Out West would be enough for most people.
Yet along side their 3 Albums, countless remixes and production duties on everyone from the astonishingly cool (James Holden, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Orb, Roni Size) to the ridiculous (Natalie Imbruglia) Jody has managed to create music that not only elevates every dance floor but has also been used heavily in film and TV,(The OC, CSI, Grey’s Anatomy).
2004/2005 also saw a world tour on their own and sharing billing with Faithless and festival slots for Radio 1 at Glastonbury, Creamfields Prague, Creamfields UK and Argentina. Jody’s sound has been his global meal ticket.
But let’s rewind a little to before all that happened, he’d already won the DMC Mixing championship regional heats at the criminally young age of 15, torn every rave apart in the early 90s as Sub Love with Full Cycle’s DJ Die and djed at most clubs Worldwide worth djing at, then got the band together (Way Out West) by the time he was twenty and on single three smashed up the airwaves and the TOTP studio, with partner Nick Warren on their big hit “The Gift”.
In 2006 Jody’s first solo track titled COLD DRINK HOT GIRL was released with universal approval. An atmospheric, emotional house record which was the #1 selling track on www.beatport.com (USA) for a staggering 5 weeks, Cool Cuts & Buzz Chart positions (UK) and support from DJs including Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, Armin Van Buuren.
Now touring consistently as Way Out West (DJ set) as well as under his own moniker you will find him at the cutting edge, embracing exciting fresh sounds, shunning the populist/lowest common denominator fodder. Jody’s passion for music will always keep him ahead of the game.
You can also catch Jody every month on Proton Radio!

Nothing can stop the ambition that is Franco Fabi. The Montreal deck wizard has managed to carve out an impressive position within the national and international clubbing community, combining savvy, drive and musical prowess.
This Montreal resident completed his first full-length studio album, Reflection Session, in 2006 in collaboration with the heavy hitting vocal talents of Lisa Pure and Robert Owens and, his first mixed CD compilation was released in January 2007.
Franco got his start in the ultra competitive Montreal scene and soon his Friday night residency at the notorious Ilume club earned him a faithful following. This was the beginning of his rise to global fame.
In 2006, it was Franco’s magical set at the annual event ‘Celebration’ that truly jump started his career. It will be a long time before his 4 hour set, witnessed by 7000 strong, will be forgotten.
Fabi’s infectious blend of top-shelf, electro-laced, progressive, throbbing club vibes was too strong to be limited to Montreal alone and, as a result, Franco was invited to share the booth with a host of DJ elite. Icons such as Roger Sanchez, Tiesto, Danny Tenaglia, Steve Lawler, Deep Dish (2006 Canadian Tour), Paul Oakenfold and Chus & Ceballos are some of the many legends he has played alongside.
Having already graced the decks in France, Spain, Lebanon (B018), Italy, Las Vegas (Ice), Miami (Mansion & Global Gathering), L.A. (Avalon & Spundae) to tremendous acclaim, it is no mystery how he managed to secure residencies in Poland (Varsovie), Morocco (Marrakech), Tunisia, and London England in clubs like the world famous Pacha.
With his sights set on converting you, look to the decks near you to give in to Franco’s infectious sounds, and like the rest…you will not be disappointed.
