In the very early 90’s, after listening to a live-to-air broadcast from the Toronto night club RPM, DJ Guinea knew that any genre of electronic music would play a major part of his life. Listening to various forms of disco, house, techno, euro, urban & breaks, Guinea practiced everyday on the decks, mixing and matching to combine certain beats with acapellas. 15 years later, Guinea is still trying to stay original and fresh, combining hard techy & funky house beats with acapella favorites that make a crowd go off the hook.

Playing at various clubs across Toronto such as, Lime Light, Xit, Mad Bar, Wallpaper Lounge, Li’ly’s, Insomnia and more recently at Century Room, Rockwood & The Mod Club, DJ Guinea continues to deliver his dirty beats to be received on the dancefloor. Many influences include some local Toronto friends like DJ Addy, Peter & Tyrone, & Jelo and global DJ’s such as, Carl Cox, Antoine Clamaran, Olav Basoski, Roger Sanchez, Danny Tenaglia, Seb Fontaine, Mastiksoul, DJ Sneak, Mark Knight, Tony Thomas have given Guinea the guidance and impact to create an electronic music trip for all his listeners.
