I guess for me that comes along with the fact that I was celebrating my birthday, but really I have not seen such an eclectic crowd all together on one night at EXPOSED. What an amazing mix of people. Loads of heads (old school and new), loads of friends, loads of Hector Romero fans…and loads of ENERGY in that room.

Every where I turned people had smiles on their faces, drinks in their hands, and were bouncing about to some great tunes. Addy opened up with one of the best opening sets I have heard him play at EXPOSED. He brought some great energy and got everybody in the mood for some serious house music.

Hector came on and pretty much consistently pumped out the beats from the get go. Definitely a tougher sounding set compared to the last couple of times Hector has visited Toronto…but he had to keep up the pace given that everyone was just begging for it…or should I say going for it!

Mod Club has been a home away from home for many of us, and nights like last night are extremely reminiscent of the days of Boa/Sonic. It was amazing to feel that energy which I truly have felt many times since we began EXPOSED back in August. But sharing that energy and my birthday celebration with so many of you that I have met over the years will remain a timeless memory for me.
